UNITS FUNDING
Thurso Sea Cadets is a registered chrity organisation and it's funding is provided by National and Local Donations, most of the costs for training of Cadets is provided by national donations through the Sea Cadet Association, which also provide training needs at National level and the Royal Navy providing training at Royal Navy Establishments throughout the UK.
Funding of the day to day running of the Thurso Unit is provided mainly by the Local Community, for such things as electric bills, insurance costs, training equipment, boat maintenance etc.
The Unit could not run without the much needed help of funding and other donations from the local community and we thank you all for the support you have given us.
Below are some of the continued local help given to the unit and local donations given in the past few month.........

Boat Paint
£300 worth of boat paint was kindly donated to the unit by Mr Willie Lipka (2nd Right in picture) Proprietor of J Waters, Paint & Wallpaper shop, Thurso.
