Unit Information
The Sea Cadet Corps is open to boys and girls aged between 10 and 18 and meets on Tuesdays and Fridays from 19:30 to 21:30 at the unit Headquarters in Shephall View.
The Corps is a disciplined youth organisation based on the traditions and training of the Royal Navy, it carries out training in many aspects of the Royal Naval such as, seamanship, engineering, communications, sailing, canoeing and boating, first aid, shooting and outdoor pursuits; the Cadets also take part in inter unit competitions in such diverse events as football and cross country running, drill, camping, navigation and air rifle shooting.
