Paddlesport
At Ryde Unit we are very keen to develop our boating and in particular Paddlesport. So far we have raised funds for 'Operation Paddle'
The picture below shows our Trailor together with the kayaks that we have managed to buy with the kind support of the Youth Opportunity Fund and Littlewoods Fund for Sports and Art.
Our ambition is to raise further funds towards an Open Canoe and associated kit.

Cadets enjoy plotting Brooklyn's course. Brooklyn's latest anchorage point was at Hong Kong. Position: 22 degrees, 06.2 minutes North, 114 degrees 16.2 minutes East.

Bavarian Surprise
One of our Cadets was fortunate to be offered a place on this trip. Whilst on this trip Dan took part in several disciplines such as mountain biking, mountaineering, abseiling and kayaking.
