Unit Visit to HMS ARK Royal
T.S Frobisher IICadets and Staff were one of only a few units in the district to visit the Royal Navy Flagship January 18th 2009.
The Cadets went aboard and were excorted around the ship by the crew, visiting the bridge, flightdeck and climbing onboard a Merlin & Sea King Helicopter.

District 5 A Side Football Competition
Rochdale Sea Cadets football teams have achieved success in the District tournament.
The Junior side won their section, Marine Hayes scoring a hatrick ! The team won the final against Burnley Unit to take the Junior District Trophy.
The senior team also performed well, and was unlucky to be beaten by Chorley Unit in the final a repeat final of last year !
Missing from the squad photo were Mne Nightingale, L/C S Taylor & L/C J Taylor of the senior team.

4 Rochdale Cadets brought home 2 Gold 4 Silver & a bronze from the recent competition held in Everton competing agains other Distric Teams The team L/C Taylor J L/C Taylor S Cdt Barker A Mne Rct Butterworth J
