Fundraising
The Sea Cadets are in a unique situation compared to other Cadet Forces, in the sense that each and every Unit is individually registered with the Charity Commission and so holds a Charity Status. This means that each Unit is responsible for raising the money year in and year out to cover costs for the Building (e.g. heating, lighting, insurance etc). As well as this we have to help support our Training Costs (e.g. mini bus hire, purchase of equipment etc).
Therefore we always welcome any donations or any support that you can offer the Unit, whether it be of a money donation, equipment or even yourself as an Adult Volunteer (could be as a Member of Staff, Civilian Instructor or on our Unit Managment Committee).
Please dont hesitate to contact us if you have anything to offer, however small - it is all very much appreciated!!!
