Welcome to Lowestoft Sea Cadets!
Lowestoft Sea Cadets is a thriving Unit within East Anglia District. Situated on St. Peters Street in the centre of Lowestoft, an ideal location to attract Cadets from all over the town (and indeed others!).
Our website will show you what we get up to, where we are, when we meet and most importantly - how to join! We hope to see you very soon.
If you enjoy spending time on the water, learning new things and meeting new friends, come and visit us to see whether you'd like to join us! Members new and old are always welcome, and you don't have to be under 18 to benefit... just ask our existing Staff and UMC members!
We also operate the Duke of Edinburgh's Award within the Unit, with many of the modules being covered with Cadets activities and expeditions arranged at minimal cost!
Along with DofE, we also enrol Cadets over 15 onto the Outdoor Services BTEC with the CVQO - with the possibility of gaining a nationally recognised qualification worth up to 4 GCSEs at A* level!

TS Europa has in the region of 30 Senior Cadets and 20 Junior Cadets - and we keep growing! Senior Cadets are aged between 12 - 17 and Juniors are between 10 - 11.
Once a Cadet turns 18, they have the opportunity to carry on at the Unit as a member of staff, or indeed a member of the Unit Management Committee.
