Welcome
The Leamington & Warwick Sea Cadets is a voluntary youth organisation, open to young people aged 12 to 18 and with Junior Sections open to those of 10 to 12 years of age, run by enthusiastic adult volunteers.
If you're out to enjoy life as much as possible, this is the place for you! Fun, friendship, adventure and learning new skills is what we're about - based on waterborne activities, but with lots of other exciting things to learn and do on land as well. Have a look and see what you could be getting involved in.

NEW RECRUITS OPEN DAY 9th SEPTEMBER
If you are interested in joining the Sea Cadets, our next intake on new recruits is on tuesday the 9th of September, 7:30pm at the Royal Naval Association. The first night you will have a few introductory sessions to some of the subject you could learn and a short tour round our facilities. Then it`s a trip to the reservior on the thursday to see what boats we use and have a go in a few of them. If you have an queries please do not hesitate to contact a member of staff on the phone number detailed at the bottom of the page.

ACTIVTIES FOR WEEK COMMENCING 20TH JULY - 14TH SEPTEMBER
Unit Shutdown for 2 weeks for summer holidays.
Tues 2nd Sep: Swimming at St Nicholas Park Leisure Centre. 7pm to 8:30pm.
Thu 4th Sep: At the unit
Tues 9th Sep: New recruits night at the unit and RNA
Thu 11th Sep: At the Res as normal.

IMPORTANT DATES FOR YOUR DIARY
SUNDAY 31st of AUGUST: Sponsored 30km kayak and BBQ on the River Leam from 1pm-5pm. BBQ will take place at the unit and RNA.
SATURDAY 13th of September: Annual District Swimming Comp. Cadets and Juniors are able to compete. The event takes place in the evening. Exact times will be confirmed nearer the time.
17th-19th of OCTOBER: RYA power boating course at TS Palatine for cadets over the age of 12 and staff.
SATURDAY 25th of OCTOBER: Collecting in Kenilworth. Could as many cadets, staff and committe attend. Times will be confirmed nearer the date.
SEPTEMBER or OCTOBER: Free Laser Quest for all the cadets and juniors who took part in the helping the unit move buildings during April and May. Thanks to everyone who helped.
