NEWS
A very well done to Imogen Clark and Matthew Robinson who came First and Second in their respective Kayaking events at Area Level and will now go on to represent Cumbria in the National event in London’s Docklands. Well Done
TS PALATINE WEEKEND
I have advertised the forthcoming Palatine weekend to all. Dates are Friday 1st October to Sunday 3rd October. On offer will be Power Boating (incurs extra costs), Sailing and Paddle Sports. The cost for the weekend is £27 all in and places can be reserved with a £15 deposit.
2011 JERSEY TRIP
Kendal SCC will be holding its Summer Camp in Jersey next year. Dates are July 23rd to August 1st 2011. I am asking all cadets and juniors who would like to attend to see me or Mrs Sumpter to express an interest

(Power is only available to over 12s and will incur extra costs for petrol).
We need a parent to volunteer to be duty cook (it's not too hard, promise) for the weekend. Anyone interested please contact me at the unit for further information.
Cook's weekend will be free free free of cost.

Class 2: First Aid, Seamanship, and Communications. Plus Shooting, Paddle sports, Marine Cadet Field training including Section attacks, Battle Drills, and Duke of Edinburgh award bronze

Assault Course, DCCT, CQBR, RM Vis Team
Who can apply?
Applications must be from fully enrolled Sea and Marine Cadets; sorry no juniors this year. Bookings are to be placed on Westminster early to avoid disappointment
Full payment must be made to ATO before 15 July 2010 to secure your place
Any cadets who are interested in taking part in the course need to let me have their money in cash this week.
