NEWS
A very well done to cadets Ellie Fairclough, Rhys Clark and Jasmine Box on passing their Leading Cadet boards.
Also well done to Mathew Robinson, Victoria Edgar, Josh Wright Steventon and Victoria Gardner on being selected to represent the Sea Cadet Corps in the National Postal League competition against the ACF and the ATC.
ADVANCED WARNING
We will be visited by the trustees of the Frieda Scott Trust this month; therefore one of the normal cadet nights will be turned into a full uniform night. You will be informed as soon as a date has been set.
The SCC have changed their swimming test requirements and all those cadets who have not yet taken the swimming test must undergo this new test before going on the water this season. There will be a swimming night at Capernwray this month, no date as yet.

CADET 150 CELEBRATIONS
Cumbria Sea Cadet Corps will be holding a one-week camp at Great Tower Scout Camp near Windermere.
Outward Bound and waterborne training. All SCC and MCD cadets are invited to attend
The dates are 18th to 24th July 2010
The cost is approximately £75.00 for the week (all in)
Parents will be expected to transport cadets to the venue
Further details with numbers and the deposits required will be announced shortly
