Welcome to TS Adventure online
Interested in joining as a cadet or an adult member staff? The best way to find out more is to pop along to the unit and see us in action - come on over for a chat and to see for yourself what we get up to!
Cadets - If you are aged between 12 and 18 (or 10 - 12 for juniors) joining the Sea Cadets or Marine Cadets is an excellent way of making friends, learning new skills and having serious fun!
Adult Volunteers - As an adult volunteer you not only get the opportunity to use current skills to help instruct and guide Cadets but there are also many opportunities to gain new qualifications and skills along the way.
Sea Cadets is not a pre-military organisation - we assume the structure and discipline of the Royal Navy but really we're all about having fun in an endless list of activies, and gaining qualifications along the way.
The aim of the Sea Cadet Corps is to help young people develop towards responsible adulthood by encouraging valuable personal attributes and high standards of conduct using a nautical theme based on the customs of the Royal Navy. Through adventurous activities Cadets become self reliant, and through team work Cadets develop consideration and respect for others. The Corps encourages high personal standards and a sense of purpose, and provides a sound foundation for future Careers. No previous experience required! If you would like to find out more you can find our headquarters located at Bush Fair, Harlow (behind Tye Green Bowls Club). We parade every Tuesday & Thursday 19:30 - 21:30.
