St Georges Day Parade
On 24th April Cadts attended The St Georges Day Parade at Whitehall. Following a short service they then marched past The Cenotaph before they were inspected by The Mayoress of Westminster.

Notice of Meeting NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual General Meeting of Enfield Sea Cadet Unit will be held at the Unit at 1930 hrs on Wednesday 19th May 2010 to transact the following business.

Chairman – Mr G Storer Vice Chairman – Mrs P Holloway Treasurer - vacant Secretary – Mrs P Barden Members (The above may be elected en bloc or individually) 6. Any Other Business
Notes: • Election of the UMC – Individuals who are seeking election to the UMC must have their nomination proposed and seconded. • Nominations can only be accepted if they are submitted on the official nomination form which can be obtained from Mrs Barden, 57 The Walk, Potters Bar, Herts. EN6 1QG or Enfield Sea Cadet Unit. • Forms will be available until Monday 17th May 2010. • There are criteria laid down in Sea Cadet Regulations (SCR) as to who is eligible to sit on the UMC. Please see SCR or contact Mrs Barden for details. • Any waiving of these criteria is at the discretion of the Area Business & Management Director. • Only fully completed forms will be accepted. • Proof of posting is not proof of receipt.
Fully completed nomination forms need to be received by Mrs Barden by 1st post on Friday 14th May 2010. All newly elected UMC members will be required to undergo a criminal record disclosure and to sign a Declaration indicating that they know of no reason why they cannot become a charity trustee (UMC member). *Notes Any Other Business – Items of Any other Business will only be considered if they are proposed and seconded in writing to Mrs Barden at least 24 hours before the meeting.

Royal Naval Parade
Each year every unit has a RNP this is where the Area Officer for London visits the unit to ensure that the high standards of Sea Cadet is being carried out correctly. We have received our 2009 Report from the AO regarding our RNP and we have a Pennant which is the first one presented since 2002.

District Remembrance Parade
Many thanks to all cadets who took part in the District Remembrance Day parade at the Enfield Town war memorial.

Enfield Show
Staff representatives from Enfield Sea Cadet Unit and cadets were on hand at the Enfield Show to assist on the Royal Naval Recruiting Stand.

Enfield Carnival
Big thanks must go to all the staff and cadets from North East District who turned out for the annual Enfield Carnival, parading through Enfield town.
