Welcome to T.S. Duncan, Dundee Sea Cadets

The Sea Cadets is a uniformed voluntary youth organisation, open to both Boys and Girls aged 12 to 18. Many units also include Marine Cadet Detachments, for Boys aged 13 to 18 and a Junior Sea Cadet section for Boys and Girls aged 10 to 12. More than 400 units across the UK, with upwards of 30,000 Cadets and Adult volunteers make us the most Successful organisation in Britain.

The Sea Cadets offer a wide range of activities that are designed to result in Serious Fun. Many Units across the UK have facilities for Boating courses, including Sailing, Canoeing and Powerboating, as well as teaching other valuable skills including Seamanship, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and even Cook Steward. Being a Cadet also gives you the chance to travel and visit new places. You could be doing this by being part of one of the many Drum and Bugle Bands, or by simply progressing in one of several Area and National competitions held every year.
