"Not Just About us"
Dundee Sea cadets adopt a policy of "it's not just about us". By this we mean that we will endevour to raise money for other good causes whenever Staff and Cadets are involved in raising money for our unit.

Activities and Fundraising
Fundraising is always on going, if you feel you can help in any way please contact us. Cadets are asked to raise a minimum of £30.00 per year usually from a unit organised event. Families can get involved in fundraising individually or through our parents and supporters committee.

From Sam
Eve's brother Sam has raised £110.00 for our unit to help with our plans to turn our outside "bridge deck" into a quiet area for Cadets and staff to relax in. Once our boatshed is built this area will be cleared (presently used as storage) and this should happen towards late 2009. We are very grateful to Sam who raised this money through the sale of Calenders he designed.

Boat Shed
After the completion of the new pontoons the next stage in the improvement of the unit is a purpose built boat shed. The boat shed will offer first class maintanence, repair and training facilities and the aim is to have it up and running late 2009. If you can help in anyway please get in touch UPDATE JULY 2008-Architect plans have now been drawn up and costings are now being made UPDATE AUGUST 2008-Meeting with architect for further considerations. UPDATE MARCH 2009-UMC working hard to raise remaining amount required UPDATE MAY 2009-Chairman has now intimated that we are close to our aim
