Respect's go to fallen cadet

TS Aurora this week will fly her Ensign at half mast in respect of Eve Anderson, a cadet sister from Northern Area. TS aurora sends our respects to the family, and the cadets and staff of her unit. RIP

District multi-training weekend

T.S Aurora will once again be the host venue of the West Yorkshire District multi-training weekend where subjects like, Seamanship, Communications, and Writer Stores.

LT Bullock receives award for service

Lt Bullock after many years service to both the Sea Cadet Corps and to T.S Aurora, has being awarded with the Lord LT's award.

6 cadets visit HMS Raleigh

T.S Aurora has sent 6 cadets to HMS Raleigh for the cadet general training to put them through activities like, fire fighting, damage control and the infamous assault course.

Staff Training Weekend

A district multi-training weekend for adults was held at T.S Aurora which ASO (E) IM attended to re-asses the first LT and asses others. First aid was also held for staff to qualify in this vital specialisation, all people who attended the weekend was happy and achieved what they wanted.

T.S Aurora went swimming

The whole unit visited Richard Dunn’s sports centre, for a swimming session of swimming tests for the new entry followed by time on the various slides.

Staff Train Away

Members of staff from T.S Aurora joined other members of staff from Eastern Area for a fun filled weekend at Beckinham Training Camp, gaining knowledge in new areas of the Sea Cadets and qualify in more subjects to teach to cadets.

Poc S.Brodie named Lord Lt Cadet

POC Brodie has been selected as West Yorkshire’s Lord Lieutenant Cadet representing the Sea Cadets in West Yorkshire. This was awarded to him during a civic reception where the Commanding Officer and District Officer congratulated him on his success. POC Brodie is the fourth in line to receive this honour from T.S Aurora.
