History Of Bracknell Sea Cadets
Bracknell SCC has been running for approximatly 35 years and is one of over 400 units in the Sea Cadet Corps. Formed in 1973, the cadets used to meet in the Cliffords Dairies building on the Western industrial estate. A perminant home was found at Downmill Road on the back end of the old Ferranti car park. The unit survived here until 1994 when the land was sold. We then met in the Royal British legion in the town centre and the then in 2001 move on to where we are now at Bullbrooke Community Centre.
