About TS Enterprise
Airdrie & Coatbridge Unit is more commonly known as T.S. Enterprise, and is numbered 007 in the Corps.
It is one of the smaller Units in the corps. However, this does not mean that the cadets participate in less activities, in fact probably the opposite is true.
The Unit HQ is situated in the Mission Hall, Motherwell Street, Airdrie. We carry out all our boating activities at Hillend Loch, Caldercruix, By Airdrie.
We are currently looking for new recruits for our Sea Cadets, both seniors and juniors, and also our Royal Marine Cadet section.
Why not read about what one of our cadets, Michelle, thinks about it in the News and Events section 'The Cadet Experience'.
Come along and have some fun. We parade every Monday and Wednesday from 1930 - 2130. Uniforms are provided on loan for free, each night costs £1 for subscription.

What's it All About Then?
The Sea Cadet Corps is a national youth organisation for boys and girls aged 12 to 18. However Airdrie & Coatbridge Unit also has a junior section for those aged between 10 and 12.
It is open to all young people regardless of race, religion or colour and we draw our members from all backgrounds.
The Corps is disciplined and uniformed, but it is certain not para-military, nor does membership imply a career in the services or merchant navy.
The aim of the Sea Cadet Corps is to help young people towards responsible adulthood by encouraging valuable personal attributes and high standards of conduct using a nautical theme based on the customs of the Royal Navy.
Through adventurous activities cadets become self reliant, and through team work cadets develop consideration and respect for others. The Corps encourages high personal standards and a sense of purpose, and provides a sound foundation for future careers.
