Expedition Training
Middle Hill is Southern Areas Exbedition Training Center based in Surrey. Aswell as campcraft and expedition leadership training, they offer abseiling, rock climbing and mountain biking! Courses are held regularly throughout the year and cost from £8 per weekend! Bargain!

BTEC
There is an opportunity in the Sea Cadets to do a BTEC First Diploma in Public Services for little extra work. The Award is regulated and organised by CVQO; Cadet Vocational Qualification Organisation.

Duke of Edinburgh's Award
The Duke of Edingburgh Award is a great thing to have! Looks great on your CV and completed Gold Awards can involve a trip to Buckingham palace for presentation!
The Duke of Edingburgh award involves physical activity, community service aswell as gaining and developing new skills! Alot of these are covered just by being in Sea Cadets!
