Fundraising

Unlike the other Cadet Forces, each local Sea Cadet Unit is an individually registered charity responsible for raising the money each year to cover the entire running costs of their own facilities (i.e. rent, heating, lighting, electricity, insurance, maintenance costs etc). For the average Unit, this comes to between £10,000 and £12,000 per annum, i.e. almost £1,000 every single month. If you have an ideas for us on how to raise funds or would like to offer your support please contact us.

The Band's First Public Display

The Unit band put on a brilliant musical display at WorthyDown Camp's Annual Fireworks display on the 6th November! Due to power failures affecting the lighting, the band carried on playing in total darkness! Well done guys!

Want to Help?

We are always grateful to any Parents or Supporters willing to spend some time with us, or simply suggesting new ways of fundraising.

We look forward to seeing you!

Remberance Day

Every year we attend Winchester Catherdal and Ithen Valley remberance day parades. This is an important part of the unit's calendar to give back to the local community.
