LT (SCC) K. Coleman RNR
The Commanding Officer has been a member of staff for almost 18 years, he has been the Commanding officer for Waltham Forest Unit for the past 8 years amongst many other roles prior to this post. Lt Coleman is a qualified Instructional Methods assessor, Pulling Instructor and a Level 3 Expedition Leader amongst many other qualifications.

First Lieutenant
PO (SCC) S. Burns
Apart from being the first Lieutenant (second in command) PO Burns is also the unit Stores Officer. PO Burns is a First Aid Instructor and District Staff Officer First Aid in North East District London. PO Burns is also a Practical leadership Task supervisor, expedition leader level 5 and has been part of the unit staff for the past 5 years.

Detachment Commander (Marine Cadets)
Sgt (SCC) M.Somogyi
Sgt Somogyi is in charge of the units Marine Cadets and has been at Waltham Forest Unit for the past 11 years and is a qualified Sea Cadet Drill Instructor and Marine Cadet Drill Leader. Sgt Somogyi is also a Blank Firing Safety Supervisor and Expedition Leader level 5 and qualifications in Power boating and Kayaking.

Detachment 2IC (Marine Cadets)
P/Sgt (SCC) J. Goddard
P/Sgt Goddard has become staff after a successful cadet career with the ATC and Marine Cadets. He is currently responsible for the detachments fieldcraft and weapons training. He has recently been appointed as second in command of the detachment.
