Devon District Drill

TS Canonteign Colour Party

On the 25th of January the unit took part in the district drill competition. We entered the Colour Party and came 2nd, but not due to a lack of trying! The team led by LC Chisholm and supervised by PPO Douglas and TI Maylam trained from 0900 till about 1100 getting the routine spot on. When the team wasn't training, they were polishing boots, cleaning uniforms and whitening webbing. After the long wait for the colour to arrive, and the teams slot in the drill shed, they went back to vigelant squadron, got changed and snoke of to the naffy! The rest of the afternoon spent relaxing untill dinner and then going to the disco. ALl the cadets can safely say they had a good time!
