Refubishment of heads

Port Talbot Sea Cadet unit have been busy raising funds towards the cost of much needed work on the heads and shower rooms. Along with a grant of £10,000 from the Sea Cadet Corps Annual Fund, this work was able to commence.

The work on the heads has been ongoing for the past several weeks and at this stage is looking good. The heads and showers were completely gutted, so the builders were just left with a shell.

We are hoping that this work will be completed, within the next couple of weeks, providing the cadets who use our unit with much better facilities of which we are extremely proud of. We are still open whilst this work is on going as we have facilities available to us.

Over a couple of cadet parade nights, we have sold raffle tickets to cadets and their families and friends for an Easter raffle to help our fund raising effort.

Port Talbot Sea Cadets kindly accepted a donation from the family and friends of the late Mr Darren Campisi. Darren, who was an ex cadet will be sadly missed by alot of people and we at Port Talbot Unit were very touched by this donation.
