The 2010 World Cup is an intrinsic part of the preparation of Pentathlon GB’s elite athletes and officials for 2012. Sea Cadets from local units presented flowers to medal winners and raised their respective national flags at the closing ceremonies.

GO APE !

Go Ape

On the Saturday of the Easter weekend; an intrepid, but wary group of Cadets and Staff made their way to Leeds Castle, near Maidstone for an unknown adventure through the trees. When I say through the trees, I mean through the tree-tops.
The experience is described as being a 'high-wire forest adventure'. That means giant obstacle courses up in the trees using ladders, walkways, bridges and tunnels made of wood, rope and super strong wire and topped off with the country's best zip lines.

DO YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO OFFER?

Medway Towns Unit is run by a Unit Management Committee of volunteers who look after the charitable side of the organisation.
We are looking for people who wish to put something back into their community but don't have the time for a full time commitment.
Ideally they will have experience in running a small organisation or skills that could be used to support that, such as professional people or people with practical skills.
The commitment is about 4 hours per month and is unpaid, other than in knowing you are doing something to make your community a better place by moulding the Good Citizens of Tomorrow.
