Area Drill and Piping
A good day at Area last Sunday. Our piping team came 4th in the piping and stood out well in the dress achieving the bronze position. Our individual pipers also did well with LC Sawyer reaching 4th and OC Rooke 7th.
Our Colour Party also proved themselves by achieveing a respectable 6th place, with only 9 points seperating 2nd and 6th placings.
The cadets gave an outstanding performance. BZ

District Drill
Congratulations are due to all those cadets who took part in the district drill and piping competition. What matters is that you all did your best, and the main thing is that you enjoy these events. From what was witnessed this year, the staff are very much looking forward to next year's competition.
As many of you know, Slough unit pipped us in a couple of the disciplines - and it was very close! However, this means that (due to area regulations) Maidenhead could end up representing Berkshire in one of the area events.
Once again, well done to all those involved. And thanks to those parents who came to show their support.
