Christmas raffle 2009
The Christmas Draw was on Wednesday, the 16th of December. Our Christmas raffle organised by our Parent committee chairman Chris Taylor. Good prizes, including an overnight trip to Les Minquiers, which consist of a reef of rocks approximately 6 miles south of Jersey which have a few small buildings on. I've never been but would love to go.

GUN PULL
Our annual round the Island 'Field Gun Pull' took place on the first week in September, a charity event, and this year it was in aid of Victim Support. We actually visit each Parish hall starting at St Saviour's parish, heading east. Our Marine section always pull the gun up Gorey hill, much to the delight of many. The 10th St Brelade's Scouts; the Air Training Corps and Victim Support also provided a team for certain sections to give our cadets a well earned break. Thanks must go to the many volunteers and the Islands Honorary Police who helped on the day.
This year we were raising monies fro Victim Support and made in excess of £1,700.00.

Sponsored walk 2009
Every year we have a sponsored walk to help support our unit funds, enabling us to send cadets on UK training activities. The walk is from St Brelade's Parish Hall to Corbiere and back, which is along the railway walk. All the cadets take part, Sea; Marines; New Entries adn Recruits, Juniors, and some of the staff. Here is a photo of our CO's dog giving his master a well deserved rest.
