Poppy Appeal Launch before London Wasps game - 11th Oct
Each year the band forms part of the official poppy launch. This year it was suddenly brought forward and held at Adams Park before the London Wasps crowd. The weather was not pleasant and prior to the match the band played in drizzle keeping the supporters entertained. The band was preparing to solo before the whole stadium at the end of the official announcement but unfortunately the commentator took longer than expected and the slot was lost. This was a massive disappointment For once we managed to get a smile.

RFA Sir Galahad
We have been associated with RFA Sir Galahad since she was launched 20 years ago. We took the band down for her last voyage from Marchwood to Portsmouth in June 2006. We played as she entered Portsmouth harbour for the last time. In June 2007 we attended and took part in the twenty five year memorial service for those who perished when the previous Sir Galahad was bombed in 1981. We still maintain our links with the 'Sir Galahad association'
