BT Community Connections Success!
Great Yarmouth Sea Cadets have been awarded a brand new Toshiba laptop courtesy of BT Community Connections!
As a result of submitting a successful grant application, the Unit will take receipt of the new equipment in late March / early April.
Along with the laptop, the Unit also receives a cheque for £170.00 towards a year's supply of broadband.
The laptop will be used to maintain all the Unit's records, including bookings for Cadet courses and also be used to Unit, District and potentially Area level training!

Bucket Collection - Yarmouth Pantomime
After an invitation from none other than panto star (former news presenter!) Helen McDermott, Cadets and staff recently attended the local theatre, taking collection buckets to accept donations from guests.
A fantastic £44 was raised and all attending got to stay and watch the panto - oh yes they did!

Great Yarmouth Maritime Festival
Once again, TS Norfolk attended the town's maritime festival.
This year, we held a stall with a tombola run by the Parents and Supporters Association, with help and support from the Cadets, Staff and Unit Management Team.
All in all, we raised a MASSIVE £777 to go towards the Cadet's training in 2010.
A huge BZ to all involved.

Fundraising Items for sale
We have been fortunate to have been donated mugs, pens and keyrings by a company called Deep Ocean, all proceeds for TS Norfolk's funds. If you would like one or all of these items please contact the unit. They will be on sale from Friday 8th September 2006 at the charity Market stall. We look forward to seeing you there. On the Friday market stall we raised £136.10 and a very big thank you to everyone who helped with raising the money, whether they donated items or served on the stall on the day. We had a lovely sunny day.
