Chopping up the ASC ...

Recently we have had to write off one of our ASC's due to damage.
Unfortunatley the Corps needed evidence that we had destroyed it, so, on cold winters afternoon some of the staff and committee went down to Stewartby to do the honours.

Thanks for all the help, especially Rob and John.

Moonraker walk

For the past two years the unit has joined a night walk organised by the Ampthill lions around the local area .
The unit hosts the event and is attended by other youth organisations, all of the walkers are sponsored and money raised goes to the local Air Ambulance.
We all set off in our respective teams. It can be challenging to walk across fields in the dark but this year it turned into a hike and then a run around the rest of route to see which cadet team could get back first, unfortunately our OiC was in the losing team, never mind ,better luck next year PO

London Bridges

One of the major fundraising events our unit does is the Bridges of London walk. This started out a few years ago with a committe member taking part in it and donating her sponsorship money from it to the unit. Since then it has grown as a unit activity and last year we had cadets, parents, staff and committee members taking part in the walk which takes you over 13 bridges in London and all money raised went to the unit. Check the photos out to see what a great day it was.

Phones 4 Schools

All cadets have been collecting old mobile phones to raise money for the unit and to win themselves prizes too.
So far we have collected over fifty mobile phones and we are still continuing to collect more ...
If you have any old unwanted mobile phones please contact us thank you.
