Welcome to the Website for Dover Sea Cadets. If you're aged between 10 and 18 and want to find out more about adventure afloat, fun ashore, and making lots of friends while gaining all sorts of new skills, then read on!

Dover Sea Cadet Unit has a long tradition and is a very successful unit. It has instructors who give their time freely as volunteers to instruct, help guide and nurture teenagers towards becoming young adults. The unit is solely supported by charity and the support of the parents and friends.
Some of the activities that teenagers have the opportunity to get involved in at Dover are Sailing, Canoeing, Power boating, Pulling (rowing), and Drill, First Aid, Writers/Stores, Shooting, Duke of Edinburgh scheme and many more. Come along and see for yourself.

About the Sea Cadet Corps

The Sea Cadet Corps is a national youth organisation opened to boys and girls aged 12 to 18 years. Dover Unit also has a Junior Section for those ages between 10 and 12. It is open to all young people regardless of race, religion or colour and we draw our members from all backgrounds. The unit is run by enthusiastic adult volunteers.

The Sea Cadets use a rank structure modelled on that of the Royal Navy, giving the cadets the opportunity to progress and take up positions of responsibility as they acquire skills and seniority.
