Through the due course of the weekend the cadets had made many acheivements one of these was reaching the peak of 'Pen Y Fan' the highest peak in the becons and south Wales. Cadets said that the trip would be something they will always remember.

HMS Hood Service

 Annual service of HMS Hood

Every Year we parade at the Boldre Church for the service of the sinking of HMS Hood, where there were only 3 survivours of the 1418 Crew who died when the ship was sunk by the German battle ship Bismark on 24th May 1941.

Cadets are seen here with Commodore S.Kirby RN of HMS Collingwood with a model of HMS Hood in the forground

At a later date a box trailer was purchased with monies donated from the International Banks and Resevre Forces & Cadet Association.

Athletics Competition 2009

At the end of a hard days work

Each year there are several competitions that cadets enter competing against other sea cadet units, one of these is the Athletic competition. The cadets did very well this year managing to come first in a wide range of different events which couldnt of been done without the encouragement and enthusiasm of everyone.

We encourage all our cadets to take part in every competition and aspect of the Sea Cadets no matter there ability or skill.
