Burgee Awarded for 2010

Congratulations to the staff and cadets at the unit who after a great performance at this years unit review managed to obtain it's second consecutive burgee.

The Unit Review's Summary stated;

"A very satisfactory set of Inspection reports provide a solid and safe basis for this Unit and a very positive environment for the cadets to thrive"

"In summary, Chatham Royal Marine Cadet Unit are moving forward all of the time and are making the very best of the opportunities afforded them. They have a group of very smart, polite cadets who are supervised by experienced, dedicated and committed adult volunteers".

On Saturday 12th March 2011 the Band of the Royal Marines Portsmouth "the Royal Band" will attend the annual concert at the Central Theatre Chatham.

The NATO phonetic alphabet is the most widely used spelling alphabet, critical combinations of letters (and numbers) can be pronounced and understood by those who transmit and receive voice messages by radio or telephone regardless of their native language. The paramount reason is to ensure intelligibility of voice signals over radio links.
