Corps of Drums

Interested in learning how to play the side drum and/or bugle?

We have our own Corps of Drums that perform throughout the Medway area at many functions.
Why not come along and see what can be achieved with a little practice,
Contact Bill Stephney on 01622 719901 for further information.

Volunteers

Adult volunteers are an essential asset to our Unit and come in all forms.
Full induction and training is given, and depending on your interests, we can be very flexible in how much time you wish to spend here.

Anyone aged over 18, is eligible to apply. You can start with as little commitment as 2 evenings per month. The first thing to do is come and take a look and see what you think. If you’re still interested, we can undergo the necessary CRB checks (foc) and very quickly, you can be involved with the Unit.

Fundraising

Chatham Marines Cadet Unit is a registered charity and relies on Sponsorship and Donations to cover the running costs of the Unit.

The financial target is to provide funds wherever they are needed to help or enhance the Unit and/or the Cadets.

Parents & Supporters Association

The support of the parents is a very valuable and necessary asset to the Unit and in recognition of this a P & S A Group has been formed to encourage the parents to meet on a regular basis to discuss the welfare and progression of the cadets.

There are monthly meetings now arranged for 19.00 on the second Thursday of each month.
