Fundraising
Whilst we do get very limited support from the Royal Navy, like every other unit we are a registerd charity and self funding. Each year we have to find approximately £6,000 to pay the heating, lighting and insurance bills and for the upkeep of the unit minibus.
We carry out collections and we also support local companies who in turn make donations to us.

Thank you to visitors to Longacres
On Saturday 18 August, the Unit held a collection day at Longacres Garden Centre and raised the impressive sum of £603.68.
This means that we can now heat the Unit for the next 18 months!
Many thanks to all those visitors who contributed, and the cadets, parents and staff who braved the weather and gave their time.
