Lakes Week

The CO's Big Breakfast. Each day the CO cooked a full British breakfast for the sailing team to set them up for the day !

In the evening Becky took over the cooking, which included on one evening yorkshire puddings to go with the meat and 2 veg, it's amazing what you can cook on a Trangia !

Leaving HMS Bristol

Cadets from all over the UK and Northern Ireland are seen here sailing down to the start for the Sunday racing. The North West won the overall Pico Trophy, well done Jacob Essex Pico Team Member. Other Buxton Cadets taking part were Ben Stones ( Laser ), Anthony Hargreaves and Tom Sellors ( Boson ), Naomi Hargreaves and Rada Ibisheva ( Junior Topper ) Nathan Fowler ( Windsurfing ). Other North West cadets in the Team came from Blackpool, Chorley and Rochdale Sea Cadet Units.

Whilst on the annual sailing week with Buxton School the Number 1 David O'Donnell and CO Bruce Luckman where challenged by a junior cadet to prove that they could walk on water ! Back to the drawing board.
