Wecome to TS Modwena
Named after the patron saint of Burton on Trent. Training Ship Modwena provides activities with a nautical theme for the Youth of East Staffordshire and South Derbyshire.
If you are looking for training afloat and are aged between 10 and 18 or thinking of a career in the Royal Navy then we can help.
Based on the customs of the Royal Navy, the Sea Cadets provide training in Sailing, Powerboating, Canoeing, Expedition Leadership, Engineering to name but a few. We also run the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme and the National Cadet Vocational Qualification.
With the opportunity to visit HM Ships and Naval Bases and at least two camps per year and many weekend activities there is plenty to see and do.
So if you're looking for adventure or want make new friends or even looking to improve yourself then why not give the sea cadets a call.
