3. Sorry, we are closed to New Entry/recruits Due to the large number of cadets enrolled against the small number staff, the unit will be closed for the foreseeable future to new joiners. To this end we are making a plea for new staff members. If anyone feels they could offer some commitment then please get in touch via the email below. Or, just call in one evening!
4. Next Divisions - Mon 2nd Aug. Cadets are to attend in full No 1 uniform. As usual the evening will end with advancements and the award of badges.

Welcome to Training Ship Diomede
TS Diomede, Barnsley Sea Cadets
Our aim is simple;
To keep our young people on the 'straight and narrow...'
To do this we use a nautical theme based on the customs and traditions of the Royal Navy. The young people we accept are both boys and girls aged between 10 - 18.
Please browse these pages and see what is available to the young people of Barnsley and the surrounding towns.
All sections parade on Monday and Thursday evenings from 6.45pm-9pm.
Cost per evening: £1.50
