Lots to see and do on the day including a visit from the Northern Area Sea Cadet Band who will play and parade on the Jetty a drill display and more!

Visiters will have a chance to be shown around onboard Royalist between 1800-2030.

A Reception is expected and is open to invited guests only. If you are a local organisation/business and would like to receive an invitation to the reception contact, John Dickie at Ayr Sea Cadets.

Ayr Sea Cadets receiving new mini-bus

Ayr Sea Cadets were recently awarded a grant for £37,289 from Youth Link Scotland. They were delighted to receive delivery of their new mini-bus as part of this from Kerr & Smith (Cumnock) Ltd. The unit would like to thank the garage for their continued support. Pictured are some of the officers and cadets with Commanding Officer John Dickie and John Dyet of Kerr & Smith.

The grant also helped to set-up their Adventure Training team and supply equipment and kit for upcoming expeditions. IT Equipment to support 2 visual training rooms was also on the list, all of this has made a huge impact to the unit and it’s future.
