Fundraising
Unlike the other Cadet Forces, each local Sea Cadet Unit is an individually registered charity responsible for raising the money each year to cover the entire running costs of their own facilities (i.e. rent, heating, lighting, electricity, insurance, maintenance costs etc). For the average Unit, this comes to between £10,000 and £12,000 per annum, i.e. almost £1,000 every single month.

Appeal to Parents
To all the Parents of Ashford Sea Cadets does any one work or have a friend who works for Barclays Bank. If so please contact Julie Martin the Chairmen,
Barclays will match any money we raise upto £300 as long as it is applied for by a member of Barclays staff

Getting Involved
We are always grateful to any Parents or Supporters willing to spend some time with us, or simply suggesting new ways of fundraising.
The Unit Management Commitee are also looking for new members to assist with the management of the unit and raise its profile.
For further details of how you can help please contact Alison Bagulay or Glenys Goldsmith on Monday or Thursday evenings at the Unit.
We look forward to seeing you!
