Welcome to T.S.Talisman, Altrincham & Sale District Sea Cadet Corps Website. We hope you find this site informative and helpful. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call in, phone or email the unit.
Are you aged between 10 and 18?
Do you want to find out more about adventures afloat?
Do you want to make lots of friends and gain all sorts of new skills?
YES!?
Then come along and join the crew of T.S.TALISMAN.
Courses for Sea Cadets include: sailing, pulling, power boating,camping, First Aid, Drill and expedition training and lots more.
As well as having Sea Cadets, T.S. TALISMAN also has a detachment of Royal Marine Cadets, the training syllabus follows that of the Royal Marines, courses include, shooting, fieldcraft, Drill, Arms Drill, First Aid, camping and expedition and lots more.(Marine Cadets must be 13 due to the nature of the training.)
We also have a Junior Section at T.S.Talisman for 10 to 12 year olds, why don't you come along and join in the fun.
At T.S.Talisman we are also looking for male and female instructors for all 3 Cadet Divisions, experience is welcome but not a must as all instructors will be trained within the Unit and the Sea Cadet Corps as a whole. The oppurtunities for adult volunteers are fantastic and very rewarding, why not come along to the Unit for a chat?

Commanding Officer.
On August 6th the Commanding Officer of T.S.Talisman became official, endorsed by the Area Officer, Lt Col John Davies,Royal Marines and the Unit Chairman Mr Phil Baguley.
Sgt(SCC)Glenn MacLennan has now taken the seat over from C/Sgt(SCC)Dave Carter.
Sgt MacLennan brings a wealth of experience with him and wishes to build on the hard work the previous CO accomplished.
"First of all we need the flat roof sorting and then funds for a new ASC (boat)those two things will be my first priority!" Said the new CO.
